I only arrived to the west in October. It is true that I have seen more saris in St James/Bentley than in East Vic Park (where I haven’t seen many) but in the article I was referring to the area and not a specific suburb.

Have you lived all your life in this part of Perth? If so, I’d love to read about the changes you have observed over the decades.

I’ve lived here nigh on sixty years and not sure that I would describe Indian saris as “commonly worn in local streets” !!
